<T>I have been experiencing this for sometime and would like to take some time to see if I can resolve. In Lightworks I am getting areas of shadows that disappear. I seem to remember coming across something similar some time ago but could not come up with anything when doing a search.</T>

Been fiddling around and discovered that the holes in shadows are triggered by transparency and goes away with hard shadow casting.

You could increase the Lightworks Effects "Method" setting to Final or Best.

And do you get the same shadow problems with Realistic Sun?

Method setting to best has same results. Realistic sun cures it but so sloooow. Hard shadow casting will work.
Thanks!
