<T>What ever happened to this functionality in Archicad?
I created a QT VRML file which allowed me to create a 3D environment.
Then, I was able to 'link' 3 or 4 3D environments together where is used to show me a "box" (rectangle) where I could jump from room to room....what happened to this functionality in Archicad15?

Can I still create QTVrml files?
Can I still link multiple QTVrml files?

what replaced what?</T>

Read the thread. Still don't know where the QTVRML generator went?
Can we still create QT virtual model MOV files?
I thought that was slick when it was able to to do that.....kinda like what the whole "iVisit3D" was/is all about isn't it?

You need to also read the page linked to in the thread:

<LINK_TEXT text="http://www.graphisoft.com/support/archi ... /QTVR.html">http://www.graphisoft.com/support/archicad/downloads/ac13/QTVR.html</LINK_TEXT>

QuickTime VR - Discontinued

QTVR (QuickTime Virtual Reality) technology is not supported by Apple on 64-bit systems. The immediate effect is:
<LIST type="decimal"><S>

On Mac OSX Snow Leopard, the new QuickTime X player (which is a 64-bit application) does not play QTVR files

On Windows 64-bit operating systems there is no toolkit to develop a QTVR-compatible Add-On for ArchiCAD

Since the future of QTVR technology is unclear, Graphisoft decided to discontinue QTVR Support in ArchiCAD 13. This has given us the opportunity to optimize the memory usage of the 32-bit version of ArchiCAD, enabling users to work with larger models. </S></LIST>

This was all a few years ago, of course. AC 12 is the last version that supported QTVR out of the box. 13 is the last version that supported it with the 32 bit downloads available on that page.

Well, the new ArtLantis iVisit 3D (too many words beggining with i these months ...) is the replacement for QTVR.

I would say much better, as ArchiCAD rendering is not comparable to ArtLantis 4 ... and the last ArtLantis that had multinode panoramas was ... dinosaurs help me out here ... 2.1 or so?
