Artlantis save disappeared?

OK, downloaded the demo.
Played with it a bit and its fun.
Shut down Archicad to do other things and when I restarted AC15 the "save as Artlantis 4.0" is gone..for that matter Artlantis 3.0 and 2.0 are gone as well?

Checked the plugins and says they are loaded.

What gives? Do you think it has anything to do with the latest update?

You can only save to Artlantis from the 3D window. Any chance that you were trying with some other view active?

Ok Karl...how unbelievably stupid of me! I never noticed I was doing the save as when the 3D window was open.....!!!!!!

Not stupid, just a common misunderstanding about how AC works. In principal, there is no reason that one could not save from a 2D view - saving what WOULD be generated in the 3D window, given the marquee, cutting planes, etc But, historically, AC has only offered saving to 3D formats from the 3D window itself.

Almost everyone has run into this at some point. 😉
