Expanded Texture and Color Choices

I use ArchiCad 14

I have been looking through the files in the ArchiCad folder and I've noticed tons of textures, colors, and pictures that I would really like to use in my projects...the problem is that I have no idea how to use them. Can I get any help on how to access all of the materials that I can?

Take a look at the Reference Guide. For 14, page 1974 (PDF) discusses the Material Texture Panel and how to click the Search... button to browse to one of those textures that you've discovered.

Start at page 1970 - "Create a New Material".

And, further, the LightWorks Rendering Engine has a supplemental "archive" of materials and textures.

Spelunk in there for a while.

But be careful since any choices made in the archive will OVER_WRITE the host material. Work from a duplicate!
