I just bit the bullet and bought VBE. Have used it with last two clients...they love being able to explore the building on their own. Irritating that we have to buy it, but I believe it will be a good investment.

<T>Am trying to create VR object, actually the movie generated from the dome in the camera tool. I get a pop up that tells me to put the VR engine in the add ons. As soon as I clicked the box that said "hide tools already loaded" I was able to find them. I would assume this meant it was already loaded. I loaded them anyway into the add ons, and tried again. Same dialogue box.
I could use some help on this. I hope the feature was not removed to create and sell VBE separately.</T>

See this page, Tom:

<LINK_TEXT text="http://www.graphisoft.com/support/archi ... /QTVR.html">http://www.graphisoft.com/support/archicad/downloads/ac13/QTVR.html</LINK_TEXT>

You'll have to save your project in 13 format, download the add-on from that page, and generate your VR in 13, I'm afraid.
So now we have to buy an Add-on. Recommendations on good quality add-ons for generating the VRs we have grown to love?

Just a thought . . . an inexpensive one <E>😉</E> . . . an architect friend of mine just gives his clients a copy of ArchiCAD and has them run it in demo mode. Shows them the basics and they are off! The file he gives them is just a clean model no drawings associated with it, and on one layer. not saying its a perfect solution but it may be a simple one.
