<T>I often like to create a Presentation Sheet with a project that displays 3D views of the project from all four corners. (and with additions I may also have some views of the Existing)

I create these views using the internal engine and Hidden line mode.
Once the views are saved to the view Map the file size usually increases by 10-40 MB then the views are placed on a master layout page and the file size increases even more. Is there a way to accomplish presenting these views without greatly increasing the file size. These large files seem to end up taking a long time to Autosave (which really cuts into productive time) and saving the file.</T>

have you tried rendering the views using the sketch renderer, then save as .jpg and then used on the layouts.

will get the same effect but .jpg file will be less.

What about saving the views as a "3D document".
You can adjust the settings to show just linework and hatching.
In response to the JPG; I had tried this before but the file was "grainy" and it is not Live, yet could easily be re-created and Auto-linked to the external JPG. I will try again and see if the JPG is better quality.

AS far as the 3D Document. I will have to look into this. I have linked a shaded 3D Document from the Open GL engine to a drawing before. I forget if this was a "live" Document.

How much decrease in size do you get if you save those View without any 3D vectorial hatching?
I am guessing the individual lines in those 3D vectorial hatches are what cause the large size increase.

You may also try publishing those Views as PMKs and placing the PMKs on Layouts.
