Why are my glass doors not rendering ?

i have just picked out a few normal doors with glass from the catelogue.
put them in place, also a few simple glass windows.
But when I hit render, every thing else renders up and I still have these horrible grey door things ?

any ideas guys.

On the Modeling tab you can over-ride the settings choices you made by un-checking the "use object's materials" check box.
