    <description>It's difficult for the BIMx models since they use a simple texture mapping. For grass it would have to be very large or very uniform/homogenous to minimize the tiling.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
There are tricks in more advanced renderers (including the embedded LightWorks engine) using alpha masks but I don't think this works in OpenGL.</description>

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;Is it possible to create a nice looking grass texture without any repetition in the pattern.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
I have downloaded the grass textures from cgtextures.com. (the tiled ones)&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
But still the grass texture looks bad, when watching from distance. &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
I should use this texture for my bimx models. &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Not for closeup renders and so.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Does anybody have one, which looks awesome in bimx models and is not heavy for the memory consumption.&lt;BR /&gt;

I just haft to find the most suitable grass texture with less repetition, without having to put a very large grass texture in the model.&lt;BR /&gt;
