where can i get more materials (cedar siding)

hello everyone! this is my first post here and im glad to be part of the community

im pretty disappointed that there isn't any wood siding available in the student version of the software except for "W siding 04-08 H" which renders white 😕

I'm making a spanish style model and really need wood siding.

more specifically i would like to know if something like the siding here is available

(yes that's fantasy factory )

any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you

this is nuts; but i just figured it out. id delete this post, but perhaps i'll leave it here with the solution i found:

you can create your own materials by selecting element attributes function. color, texture and reflectiveness can be adjusted as well.

moderators: perhaps this should be moved to the student forum?

Hello Sean!

If ArchiCAD's material library is not enough for you, you can always add new ones using the material editor. You can even add textures so in ArchiCAD's 3D view, so your custom material will be seen. As for finding nice wood textures (and for other textures as well) I suggest you take a look at www.cgtextures.com
