topic Accurate sun shadows in cutaway? in Visualization

<T>I would like to know if there is a way to show the sun shadows in a cutaway view that is accurate. By accurate I mean as if the building is not cut. My shadows look like the sun can penetrate the entire cut plane instead of just coming from the windows, interior lighting, etc. I want to see the true interior lighting, but I can't see a large enough space by leaving the model whole and using the 'explore model' tool to view the interior. Am I missing a setting?

Thank you
No. It is like that. Sunlight is getting into the building if you cut it.
Most of the programs do that.

The only software I know, where you can cut the building without affecting light distribution is Maxwell Render. Maybe something similar exists in 3DS Max...
