Die 4.1er Version ist installiert.

Verstehe ich es richtig, daß man im echten Artlantis zwar Maxwell-Shader benutzen kann,
aber eine zusätzliche Maxwell-Lizenz kaufen muß, um die Maxwell-Engine zu benutzen?

Wo gibt es denn Infos zum Procedere?

Ist das eine eigene Maxwell-Lizenz oder ein Upgrade Preis für Artlantis?
In welcher Preisklasse soll das denn liegen?

Vor dem Upgrade auf Artlantis 4 waren mir nämlich die etwa 1000€ für Maxwell etwas zu viel,
aber wenn man jetzt die Bequemlichkeit von Artlantis mit der Qualität von Maxwell verbinden könnte...

Man könnte es wirklich nicht trefflicher forumulieren.

...Aber die Webinars sind vermutlich empfehlenswert...
auf diese 4.1er rentiert sich zu updaten.
Nach den mehr oder weniger kläglichen 2 vorherigen Updates geht endlich
wiedermal was vorwärts.

Danke Andy7 für den Link zum Herunterladen von Artlantis Studio 4.1!
Es gibt zwar eine "automatische" Update-Funktion in Artlantis Studio 4, die einen beim Öffnen gleich sagt, dass es ein kostenloses Update gibt, aber der Link führt ins Nichts, denn die Datei, die man dann herunterlädt ist bloß 22 MB groß und lässt sich nicht installieren!
Insofern, vielen Dank für den Link! 😄
Ich frage mich gerade, weil es keine Installationsanleitung gibt, ob man Artlantis Studio 4.1 einfach im gleichen Ordner wie Artlantis Studio 4.0 installieren kann, sozusagen einfach darüber. Weiß da jemand, ob das geht? Oder muss man Artlantis Studio 4.0 erst deinstallieren bevor man die 4.1 installiert?
Als Student benutze ich die kostenlose Studentenversion von Artlantis Studio, wobei ich befürchte, dass die Lizenz dann weg ist, wenn ich bei der Installation was falsch mache. Gilt die Seriennummer von der Version 4.0 auch für die 4.1 und wie stelle ich bei der Installation sicher, dass die Seriennummer "übernommen" wird, sofern es die gleiche ist?
Bevor ich etwas falsch mache und dann gar nicht mehr Artlantis Studio verwenden kann, bleibe ich vorsichtshalber bei der 4.0, wobei die Änderungen in der 4.1 mich schon reizen... ^^

die Lizenznr. von 4, geht auch bei 4.1. zumindest bei der Kaufversion ist es so, weil
es ein kostenloses update ist.. aber über die Lizenzgeschichten wissen die Graphisoftmitarbeiter
mehr...
Nur so viel, du kanst 4.1 in ein separates Verzeichnis installieren.
Dann verlierst du die alte Version nicht.

ich habe mir gerade die Demo vom maxwell rederer installiert und wollt die materialien in artlantis testen, aber welche materialen kann ich benutzen? es werden mir keine angezeit so wie im video.

jetzt sagt mir dann mal warum ich denn dann überhaupt noch dieses artlantis verwenden soll und nicht gleich maxwell? das wird mir immer unverständlicher... 😄

maxwell finde ich als add-on für architekten ja toll, artlantis würde ich nie im leben jemandem weiterempfehlen, ich kann auch nicht verstehen warum man sich bei a-null da noch so darum bemüht beziehungsweise das gerne nichts-ahnenden architekten verkauft. für das geld bekommt man bald auch eine c4d lizenz und vray.... ok, nicht ganz, aber immerhin maxwell.

Weil die Einarbeitungszeit in Artlantis erheblich geringer als in C4D ist. Und die Maxwell Engine nur ein Knopf in Artlantis ist.
Also hat man die einfache Bedienung, die auch jemand nutzen kann, der nicht dauernd rendert mit der korrekten physikalischen Berechnung aus Maxwell.

verstehe ich, gar keine frage! aber ist nicht die einarbeitung in maxwell studio beziehungsweise das rendern mit maxwell direkt aus archicad raus noch wesentlich einfacher als eben artlantis zu verwenden? darauf wollte ich hauptsächlich hinaus...

wir kennen büros wo maxwell im einsatz ist, in reinen architekturbüros, und die scheinen gut damit klar zu kommen. dagegen arbeitet meine partnerin auch noch nebenbei in einem architekturbüro das artlantis verwendet und muss das ab und an verwenden wenn nicht wir die bilder bei uns im haus machen, hmm... so richtig glücklich ist sie damit nicht. aber gut, wenn man mal etwas wie 3dsmax oder c4d und einen richtig guten renderer wie vray gewöhnt ist dann kommt einem das halt wohl seltsam vor.

sag kostet maxwell standalone nicht auch ungefähr diesen betrag? witzig... und damit könnte man direkt aus archicad rendern und bräuchte kein externes programm (außer man will ganz gefinkelte materialien oder lichtsachen erstellen).
