As Tom said, this capability has been eliiminated in 10. I complained during beta testing to no avail: Graphisoft does not seem willing to observe how people are USING the software and to maintain compatability. If I recall, they felt that restricting the filter by selection was confusing to users. I say just make 'selection' an explicit criterion if that's the case.

A key power of the interactive schedules is to conveniently perform massive editing on the model database in a friendly way with stored 'schedule' (really 'editor dialog') settings. I taught this technique at ACUWest some years ago and have mentioned it numerous times on this forum.

Some (and perhaps most) such editing is possible with criteria, yes, but is very often useful to do it with selections. And, of course, selection may in fact be required for some actual schedules.

One of my pet peeves... <E>😞</E>

Cheers,

<T>Dear all,

In AC V 9.0 the interactive schedule shows the list of only selected elements for example only selected walls in the floor plan. But in AC V 10 I am unable to get, it is always displaying me the list of all objects for ex. all the walls on the floor plan.

Where can I control this?

Thanks in advance.

regards,
Srini.</T>

I don't believe that ability exists any more. The Scheduler is now only controlled by its Search Criteria.
