I don't think that's possible, but Fabrizio from Cigraph could probably tell you for sure.

<T>Hi,
Since ArchiStair is API incoded when comes upgrade time I lose my stairs till the update comes. So I want to save the ArchiStair as an Object so do not have to worry about this issue of API driven Add-Ons, all the time.

I selected the stair and saved it as an object ( Save Project As), but when reloading the library it is saved in to a day later it gives me missing macro messages. What am I doing it wrong?
Thanks,
Joseph</T>

My suspicion is that the macros are embedded in the Add-on and you will not be able to use the stairs until you buy the new version of ArchiStair.

But I do not want to use the ArchiStair Add-On. Just want to save the stair created buy the Add-On as an Object (I know I can not modify it latter) so do not lose the stair when ArchiAtair is not availabe.
Thanks,
Just very very frustrated with API driven addons
StairMaker does not work but maybe I get Stair Builder for now till GS gets StairMaker working. Anyone knows if Stair Builder is any good in retaining the stair from one version to the next?
