<T>Hi,
I just got a question I had no clue about. So...I turn to the suberb resources living on this forum. The question was if there is/are any auto vectorizing (auto tracing) softwares avail. to convert bitmapped drawings to vector ones?

Cheers,
There was Plan2Model - but I don't know if it still exists. The original announcement was here.

Ah, I felt I got it wrong. I'm after "raster-to-vector conversion software".

It used to be a part of Corel. It worked really well fro simple images and you could get DWG out of it. I think it is a part of Ilustrator too, but I dont know the present situation.

There a also cheap alternatives (http://www.freefirestudio.com/ or http://vectormagic.com/home) but it has been years ago since I used to do it myself.
