In the Interior Elevation Markers at least one of them has an option to label views by orientation. The orientation is set in
Options>Project Preferences> Levels & Project North
Where you set project north.

<T>Does anyone have a suggestion of what is a good way to get a schedule that shows the total area of windows or walls facing a certain direction?
Do I need to include the direction in the ID or is there another option?</T>

That might be an advanced gdl programmers option, but to keep it simple,
just put it in the ID as you suggest.
Kinda like what you might do with putting an E or P in the ID for separating out the windows that are Existing or Proposed.
