OK, thanks I will keep that in mind for future objects.

My next issue is that I wanted to schedule objects from layouts. Is this not possible?

What I am doing is creating a title object that contains all the revisions for the layout sheet within the object. I was hoping I could schedule it, so I have a global database for all my revisions. (wanted to avoid using cadimage solution)

<T>Hi,
I have created schedules from custom objects before without any issues, but this time when I choose the 'Additional Object Parameters', the parameters I wish to add are greyed out? They are not greyed out when I open the object.
Is this because this parameters control a macro within the object?</T>

Hey Tom

All you need to do mate is make sure you have named the parameters!
Not just the variable but add a name and your all good to go!

Thanks Kristian,
That makes sense. I've got 100's of parameters so I got lazy.

Haa ha ha haa
Don't worry mate I know that feeling!!
Another tip with parameters you're going to schedule, drop a little 3 digit
code number at the start ie "044 Beam Length" so you don't have to go searching through thousands of parameters!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Yep you've hit the soft spot there mate!
You can't schedule from the layout.

For revisions, Ben Cohen (4D Library) has a very elegant solution too!
I'd hit him up through his website mate and check it out!
It really is brilliant!!!!
