topic Archicad vs Autocad compatibility question for noob in Collaboration with other software

<R>I apologise if my question seems naive, but could anyone confirm whether an element (say a wall for example) can become smaller/bigger lenghtwise when exchanging DWG files between Archicad and Autocad ?

Since both programs use calculations instead of vectors, i would say no, but i would just need to be on the safe side.
(this of course while not altering the scale factor intentionally)</R>

Everything will stay the same size but you need to make sure you are using the same units of measurement in both programs.
i.e. millimeters, meters or feet/inches, etc.
Otherwise all elements will be out of scale by the conversion factor between the different units.
