<T>what would be the best way of importing a 3d file from Archicad 12 into 3ds max design 2009? I’d love to use the file link manager but every time I link dwg file and open it in max the file is corrupted… I can open 3ds files made in Archicad and import them into 3ds max but that won’t let me update them in real time like the file link manager does.. Is there something particular I have to take into consideration once exporting dwg file from Archicad for allowing it to work properly in 3ds max when using the file link manager?</T>

If simply exporting and importing the 3ds file can not updating and editing the model in an interactive way. This is not what Vissweden want to.

But you know, 3Ds Max belongs to Autodesk, I think it would take a very long time to wait that they cooperate with each other, even never.

If you want that interative updating, Cinema 4D is your choice.
