    <description>View your model in 3d. Make sure you see only what you want to have in the .3ds model. Save as one of the file types that 3Dmax can import or open.  When you save as .3ds a menu opens where you can select a few basic settings.  You might want to use a small test object until you can be sure that the model will come in a the scale you want.</description>

Also the attached image was something I found in here somewhere and I too use these settings with success.&lt;BR /&gt;
