<T>What is the best screen grab tool for creating images of the ArchiCAD screen that I can easily add to posts on this forum?

I am currently using Acrobat but I have to reduce the image size and pixel count in Photoshop before I can add the image to my posts on this forum.

Thank you,
Snagit without a doubt, IMHO.

I wouldn't and don't bother with anything else. It'll be the best $50 you've ever spent and you will find yourself using it for far more than just posting images to this forum, I betcha.

It's made by Techsmith, the same people who make the best screen recorder: Camtasia Studio.
Thanks Link and Srinivas and Barry,
Thanks for the tips. I just installed and tried Jing. It seems to work pretty easily.
I know Srinivas uses Jing and he can make a screen capture in the time it takes me to open Acrobat--pretty fast.
Being known as frugal, I use Cropper (I forget how to get text embedded in URL link here)
www.snapfiles.com/get/cropper.html

Usually Open in MS Paint for annotation (not the most elegant solution)

Which is really great, quick and free.
Just hit your "PrintScrn" and paste in.
I use Skitch http://skitch.com/ It's free and as far as I can tell does everything SnagIt does except allow multiple images in a single file--though it appears that is coming in a future version. If SnagIt does things I'm not aware I'd be interested in knowing. Maybe I need it and don't know it.

I don't know Skitch. I'll have to take a look at it. What I like most about SnagIt is that I can immediately markup and email the screen shot in the built-in editor, and it automatically saves the files.
