Not sure which version of ArchiCAD you are using, but from ArchiCAD 14 you can import XYZ points to create your terrain, if you have those from your surveyor, here's &lt;A href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KprBvzakpd0" target="_blank"&gt;Video&lt;/A&gt; on how to do it.&lt;BR /&gt;
In case you have only the contours in your civil 3d without the XYZ points then either you can import the contours from civil 3d as a 2d dwg drawing and recreate the terrain with the mesh tool or import the 3d dwg file as an object to view in ArchiCAD 3d, although the later one won't provide you with flexibility as it will be imported just as an object.&lt;BR /&gt;

I have been tryint to find what is the best and easiest way of importing AutoCAD Civil 3D topographic drawing into new/existing ArchiCAD 14 file.&lt;BR /&gt;
