Archicad 12 and MEP not working ... please help.

Hi,
I just downloaded the MEP student version for Archicad. Opened my Archicad student version and I get this message: Archicad (2675 USA full) and MEP modeler (2327 USA full) are not compatible. How can I solve this problem? I am trying MEP for the first time for a school project.
