topic Label and IS numbering question in Collaboration with other software

<T>When I place multiple identical Labeled objects in floor plan (within a zone), and give them an ID with the same number, they show up in the Interactive Schedule grouped together in one line item, which is the way that I want it. But when not place within a zone it shows up in IS in multiple line items with the same number. Is the way it works or is their a way around it?

Thanks,
AFAIK the zone shouldn't be a factor. In 10, in the schedule window, on the left under Schedule options, 'Show uniform items as a single entry'. In 9, in the schedule settings, 'List Item Types Only' instead of 'List all items'.
