Hi Ede,

Thank you for your help: I have actually been trying this, but the apps I have are either causing me too many scaling issues, or retain the 'quad' geometry.....no doubt I need to experiment further, but have run out of time for now........

Cheers,

<T>I am banging my head against a wall trying to export building elements (walls, library parts, etc.) as obj. files with triangulated geometry for use in the IvyGenerator - which specifically only works with obj. files and then only if triangulated.

Every way I've tried exporting ends up with quadrangle rather than triangle geometry..........aaaah.

Please advise - even if its only to tell me it can't be done......thanks.</T>

Hi,

You can try exporting it as .dwg or .3ds than in another 3D application to convert it into .obj format

Best regards,
