If you have your project in SHEET form using the layouts, you can use PUBLISHER to export sheet into a PDF file.

More than I can explain here, not knowing how much experience you have with ArchiCAD.

Look up PUBLISHER in the help files / reference...

<T>I am currently using the archiCAD software on my personal computer but need to be able to open files on school network (they do not have archiCAD) to use school plotters. I have been trying to create PDFs, without much luck. Does anyone have a suggestion. AutoCAD is however available.</T>

Hello alexandria,
Welcome to the forum.
As our fellow forum member David Maudlin would suggest,
You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the
top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system
(see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
The answer to your question depends on this information.
Thank you for your replies, I have now added a signature (let me know if you need more information than that). I tried converting the file over to PDF but I am still getting a "failed" message.

The main reason for getting FAILED in the Publisher is that you already have the PDF (last issue) OPEN and it can't overwrite it.
