The frustrating thing about quautities and calculations is you never know wheather to trust the result your see in the total or not. Quite often Its easier to just measure it, hit the M button and trace round the building.

<T>hoping someone can assist me. I am trying to figure out how I can calculate the entire perimeter of a building by selecting the exterior walls and calculating the perimeter of those walls? Is it possible to just have the walls selected calculated on the reference line side of the wall?

I am using ArchiCAD 16.

Thanks</T>
