if the entire BIM community could realize what excellent support service GS has....you all would be dominating the BIM market place.......instead of (ahem) the other guy.

<T>I tried to convert ArchiCAD to 3dmax file, coz I want to use Vary to render in Rhino.

The problem is the converted file are always too big to open, can any one help me in details for converting files into 3dmax? or whatever that allow to use Vray for Rhino?

little urgent,
thank you</T>

- Try saving as either 3DS, DWG and DXF one of this formats might work better than the other.
- Also use "By Surface" instead of "All Elements"
- Instead of exporting the whole model do it by steps. First the sight, then the building to see were it bogs down.
- Third if it is a limitation with Rhino there might not be much we can do. My workflow is to use VRay with Cinema4D which has not failed me yet.
