it looks fantastic!!!! UI perfectly implemented in AC10 and if this stuff will be able to do things which are claimed in the brochure it is going to be a huge step in the final document production. Sadly I was expecting this kind of tool from GS a long time ago... I can't wait for a trial version!

Anyone who knows more about it, please share your comments...

I wasn't aware it had been released yet .. i think Cadimage have a few issues with the 10 patch to take care of.

Looking forward to it though - hope it comes through in the next few weeks as i'd like to have the chance to check it out before we start on our CDs

HI All, just to let you know, we are going out to beta test with this new product at present. We should have the release version available in the next 2-3 weeks, depending on the feed-back from beta testing. So you don't have too long to wait.

the trouble is - i can't find a PDF manual to download. just the brochure seems to be available. and although there is one of those 'interactive help' things that seem to be the norm these days, i can never concentrate when i'm trying to absorb information from a computer screen!

i'll let you know how i go next week . . .

is this a demo? or the real deal? if so, how did you obtain it? i heard there would be one available. would be keen to test out a demo to see how it 'fits' into our current system.

i'm getting on all right with it so far. had to get my head around the 'issue' vs 'revision' definitions: i wouldn't have used quite the same naming conventions cadimage have used! overall, it's a little inflexible but it functions extremely well and isn't bad as a first release. i've only found one (minor GDL) bug so far, but i've made an A4 page of wishes

for what it does do, i would be prepared to change my procedures to suit its functionality until further releases make it more flexible. it really does take the hassle out of the 'paperwork' behind a drawing issue.

i'm still tinkering: more later . . !

I see your point, Ben.

cadimage.co.nz more often than not, and we are on their Select subscription system, so get tools from there, rather than cadimagetools.com (where there is a news item about internet problems)
