<T>Here's something that got me worried.

I'm doing my final project for uni (a museum). I started designing in Sketchup and plan to move to Archicad once the design is finalized. For quick test renders, I export to Cinema4D. Up to now this has worked fine. The Sketchup model -the building, the site and a bit of the surrounding area- are saved as a 3ds file and opened in C4D for rendering, which is usually UNDER a minute. Yesterday I did a quick mock-up of a part of the building in Archicad. Nothing much two slabs, two walls and two curtain walls and saved it as a c4d file. When I rendered in Cinema4D, the render time went up to 7 minutes. Is this normal? 7 minutes for a 1% part of the entire building? Does this mean that the final Archicad model will take days to render?Any ideas, suggestions?</T>
