topic Sketchup Add-on discontinued ! in Collaboration with other software

<R>i'm really sorry to have to post this, but as it is also an annoucement that should have been made "separately" i'll do it; cause it is not even in the sketchup add-on webpage.

as i've noticed here , the sketchup addon that translate sketchup surfaces into native archicad elements (walls; slabs; roofs, levels) is discontinued.

the only option now is to import sketchup through the google earth add-on as an object only, which means the object will be a dumb gdl object, and no more reconised by ArchiCAD as a conceptual masse that would be transformed into archicad elements.

i don't want to seem harsh (not even know what i have to think about why this desicion has been made by GS !) but it would have been fair to annouce this clearly.

Thanks , to be confirmed by GS...</R>
