<T>Does anyone know if you can do basic project costings in Archicad. I would have thought you could use the parametrics of objects/elements to attach say a price per square meter and then scheduling could pick that up?
Any thoughts much appreciated.</T>

Have a look at this recent thread which gives some advice into the process -

<S></S><LINK_TEXT text="http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/vie ... p?p=137720">http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=137720</LINK_TEXT><E></E>

There are more threads about this in the 'Schedules' section of the forum, so do some searching there for more info.

This thread belongs in that section too, so perhaps a moderator could move this thread for you and you may get more responses.

Best of luck!
