topic Sort zones in an area lists in my own way instead of alpha.. in Collaboration with other software

<T>Hi, I have a question on area lists and zone schedules. How can I sort the named areas in the list of my own choice instead of alphabetical order? Can I put a hidden parameter that the list is ordered by instead of the name of the zones? Or is there another way to sort the list?

If you see my attached file... for example do I want "Misch." to be in the top of the list...

In the Help file you will find info about sorting here:

Virtual Building > ArchiCAD Model Views > Interactive Schedule > Sort Schedule Fields

But I don't think you can have it hidden, it will show in the Schedule.

A possible hack that might work is e.g. to make the ID a field these fields are sorted by. Make ID the last listed field. Then when you place the Schedule of a Layout as a Drawing adjust the borders of the Drawing so this last line of the Schedule does not show.

Hello,

Adjust the sorting (dummy) field width to zero.

Works fine.
