Was the stair created with the same version of ArchiStair as you are now trying to use to edit it with?  I remember seeing this message once years ago, but cannot remember how I got around it.  (The most recent versions of ArchiStair detect a stair made with an older ArchiStair library and update the stair, as I recall.)&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Best bet is to write to Cigraph support / Fabrizio directly unless someone else has an idea...&lt;BR /&gt;
