<T>After successfully importing (File Special>Merge)a sketchup 3D file into AC 17, The resulting Morph is a quite lively bunch of polygons that are quite disruptive in obtaining a useful model to manipulate. I read online of a manner to eliminate extraneous polygons from the import on a windows machine, but not macintosh. Any suggestions?</T>

Cleaning up an import via conversion to Morphs is the same on Mac and Windows:

<LINK_TEXT text="http://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/tips/r ... o-objects/">http://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/tips/removing-triangulation-from-imported-sketchup-cinema-4d-and-3d-studio-objects/</LINK_TEXT>

See if that helps at all.
