Hi Jolly Thomas,

The reference guide and the F1 help both have lots of useful information about schedules, so make you you have read those thoroughly before diving into schedules blind.

Where are you seeing this 'format list' setting that adjust rows and columns? A screenshot would be really useful to make sure we are all talking about the same things.

What part don't you understand about the 'criteria' and the 'fields'. The criteria specifys what items you want to schedule, and the fields specify what specific information from the items you want schedule.

Click the 'Create New' to create a new schedule, or select an existing one and press 'duplicate' to create a copy of it.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for attaching the image. I understand now! We are talking about using 'Lists' rather than 'Schedules' to create a window schedule. This is what confused me!

Unfortunately I don't know much about lists, but I presume duplicating an existing one, seeing how it is put together, and then modifying it would be a good method to learn.

I'm not sure of your experience level with ArchiCAD and its features, but I'd say Listing is certainly in the 'advanced' section of things to learn, and can require a fair amount of setup before it is useful. I don't know if this is the case for a window schedule.

Perhaps someone else who uses Lists could comment and give some advice about setting it up, and advise about any complex parts you should be aware of?

Sorry I can't help much further. Good luck anyway!

The Interactive Schedule has pretty much replaced using the Listing function for windows and doors. Listing is still the only way to generate a material list. Check out the interactive schedule in the manual and or the online guide. It should walk you through it. Much easier than the Listing approach. There are predefined versions for doors and windows you can use, or duplicate and rework as needed. Also, search Interactive schedule on the forum.

good luck

I agree Rick. I have been able to create a variety of custom door schedules (and many other types) by using the schedules provided and modifying them for my purposes.
