topic IFC 2x2 and FIC 2x3: Do we need both add ons? in Collaboration with other software

<R>Upgraded to 14 recently, and had a few minutes between projects to ponder the above question.

Specifically, when I launch Archicad, I'm told the "add-on IFC 2x2 is missing". While I could install it, from

C:\Program Files\Graphisoft\ArchiCAD 12\Add-Ons\Goodies\IFC 2x2 Import-Export,

I began wondering do I need it if I have IFC2x3.

If I don't, then how do I get rid of my friendly opening message? Somewhere in work environment I guess...

Thanks.
No.

After reading more caredfully, 2x2 is the old format, and the data was only staying in the project because I told it to.

Now happily using the ifc 2x3 system. Its always nice to have another way to parse the data.
