Updating template files

If I have a schedule on a one project how do I add/import that to another project or to my 'beginning a project' template? Specifically, In my 'residential' template I have a schedule called call NCS Door & Frame Schedule. I want to add that to my 'Commercial' template. I have the same libraries loaded but I can't seem to recreate the multiple header listings I see in the NCS schedule that has categories with sub categories in the header.

1. From the Project Map>Schedules, right click and open SCHEME SETTINGS window

2. Select the schedule you want and click on the EXPORT button.

3. Save it where you will remember e.g. with your other office template files

4. Open the commercial file you mentioned>schedule scheme settings and click on the IMPORT button.
