I'm confused: you changed your question. You first asked about meshes not showing up ... and the image you posted does not show that you included meshes in your schedule, so that's why they do not appear.

Now, you've asked about quantities inside of composites... and I answered that earlier: you only get composite skin quantities with a component schedule, not an element schedule.

ArchiCAD has no means to combine the data from component and element schedules, unfortunately. So, if you have a composite wall with a reinforced concrete 'skin' and a mesh that you used for an isolated footing with reinforced concrete ... there is no means to total the volume of the two.

Edit: sorry for any duplication of Laszlo's comments... I started replying and was called away. Maybe I still said something useful. <E>😉</E>

i see that the " schedule" do not contin any mesh or morph objects . why that?
is there a way to add morph or mesh or obgects in the schedule settings and then the schedule calculate the materials of these objects?
hi,
thanks for the reply.
the mesh is solid and created in AC17.
i noticed that the component schedules do not have the mesh and the morph at the critiria but the ellement schedules include the morph and mesh.

but i cant schedule a material quantity as "element schedule" for example "concrete " material that is used in columns and composites and slabs.

how can i do it?

Component Schedules only schedule composites and complex profiled elements ... those elements that have 'skins' (the components).

You would use an Element Schedule to schedule your mesh quantities. It sounds like you did not set up your criteria correctly. Should be 'mesh OR slab OR beam' etc to get all of the footing elements... enclosed in parentheses... and then choose the concrete material.

Repeating Laszlo's question - please post a screenshot of your schedule criteria. I'm relatively certain that the problem is your choice of settings there.

Yes, your conclusion is correct.
Component lists can be generated only for those element types where you can use Composites or Complex Profiles, therefore they have 'skins'.
I would suggest that you try to model those Column Bases using the Shell Tool. It is much more flexible than the Mesh Tool, you should be able to do it.
Then you will be able to create a Component Schedule for Shell elements as those can also have a Composite structure.

You might need to create a new "Component" schedule rather than a "Construction Element" schedule.
Then you can list the values of the individual components in your composites.
