<T>Hi, I'm wandering what the best way to export an archicad model to cinema 4d is for rendering - i.e. with materials and all. I'm using AC 12 educational version and C4d release 10.

I remember there used to be an addon that allowed saving as a .c4d file straight from Archicad in previous versions, but haven't been able to find this updated for version 12 yet.

Thanks for your help,
Ama</T>

Ama,
You'll need to use 3ds or obj exporter at the moment. The plugin transfer between Archicad 12-C4D still isn't available and it's made R12 totally unusable for me!
Is this Add-On for AC12-C4D working or does it still have issues that are being talked about in other forums?
Mike,
Last time I downloaded this plugin, it was the resurrected Maxonform. NOT the exchange plugin we are looking for. It would be REALLY nice if someone from Graphisoft would tell us (the user) what we are downloading and what the plugin does.
This is really weird. Nemetschek AG owns both Graphisoft and Maxon. I'd imagine a working exchange plugin would help sell both programs.

Whatever they plan to release in the future, losing functionality like this can't be in Nemetschek's interest. Or can it?

Thats exackly what I thought when the sale originally went through.
I'm hoping they have been developing a 'all new super duper extra special' exchange plugin but have hit a big snag along the way and haven't been able to deliver. That would 'almost' be an acceptable excuse except that they haven't told anybody!
