topic conflict between Archistir and CADimage in Collaboration with other software

<T>i posted about this on the Cigraph website forum, and have emailed Cigraph repeatedly with no repsonse. At least one other person on the Cigraph forum has encountered this problem:

I am using AC12 EDU, and have installed Archistair and the Cadimage Suite of add-ons. Archistair worked fine before installing the Cadimage add-ons. But now the library parts for the posts and newel don't appear in the Archistair dialog, and the Panels dialog doesn't work at all.

I moved the Cadimage folders out of the add-on folder and Archistair works ok again, but now the Cadimage tools won't load properly. Does anyone know how I can use both of these add-ons with out needing all these wacky work arounds?

I am starting to wonder if this is some sort of corporate sabotage battle between the two add-on companies...at any rate, I am stuck in the middle because neither company seems willing to respond or address the issue.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.</T>

Hi, i haven't come across this before.
Are you trying to use Archistair & Cadimage's Stairbuilder?
As it might just be both their plugins trying to action separate thing at the same time.

well, i have them both installed, but i am not trying to use them on the same stair, or even in the same project. but having Cadimage ad--ons installed definitely messes up Archistair.

Which Archistair are you using? I had the same problem with Archistair1. Problem went away with the new Archistair2. It was a while ago and Fabrizo did suggest to remove all other addons to test, but that didn't fix it for me. We never did find the problem.

I am using Archistair 1. As far as I know, Archistair 2 hasn't yet been offered for Edu version. It would be great if they did.
