<T>I have just started using archicad and previously used autocad and form Z to do 3D modelling. I am looking to use a different package as I feel that it always takes a long time to model on Form Z and had several problems with it. I was just wondering what the thoughts are about modelling in archicad and then exporting this into 3D studio max for rendering and if the models transfer fairly easy?</T>

It has been working for me for years!
It is "fairly easy"!

Thanks for your reply I have had a go at modelling in Archicad but an finding difficult to model certain shapes! What package do you find best to create your models in and then for rendering?

The transfer from Archicad to Cinema4D is a bit easier, if not a little bit more clean.
