PS - this is being run on a 12-core / 24gb Mac Pro (v14), so it seems like some issue to do with 2d not utlising full capacity of the computer. Any ideas?

<T>I think this is an excellent plugin. However, we are doing large scale urban modelling and trialling production of buildings as objects (on top of GIS mesh) and are a bit disappointed with the 2D workflow - it seems to take around 30 seconds for Architerra to compute every operation- [clicking polyline and mesh and waiting for pop up window].

Are there any ways in which this process can be sped up (we have to produce hundreds / thousands of buildings on top of mesh)??</T>

I have run into this myself. I think the trouble is that Architerra is making a lot of calculations when you have a large site. It may help to break the site up into smaller pieces.
