<T>How can I calculate the number of bricks in all walls I have in my project?

I know there has to be some volume, which I can divide with the volume of one brick.
But is there a more sophisticated way to do this?

If it is not, then where can I find the total volume of all walls in my project?

Thank you.</T>

Andro does these .xml files work only for your composite wall?

Because in my case, when I import your files I get only Headings, no numbers data available.
Also, you can use the easy to get data from a wall schedule (surface area for example) and export the schedule to Microsoft Excel where that data can be use in formulas to generate the schedules you really want.

Yes property objects can be scripted to do all sorts of calculations including the number of bricks in a wall.
However Interactive Schedules can not use these property objects, they only work in the old list scheme which is fast becoming redundant.
New elements like stairs and railings can't be used in the old list schemes.

The problem with the interactive schedules is they can not do any calculations (except from a simple total),
so they can't calculate the number of bricks in a all - just the area or volume.
There is no way to do calculations in the standard Schedules in Archicad. you can do this, however, using the the graphical format wizard feature of Lists.

I demoed this with a video on YouTube. You can choose to use surface area or volume as the reference. You can also filter various composites or walls, etc..

<S></S>https://youtu.be/598lulaB9Xw<E></E>

With the Format Wizard you can make the list schedule appear nearly identical to the regular schedules.
Be aware that Archicad TS considers lists to be a legacy feature and will not answer questions directly. At least in the USA. So if you have any specific problems -- best to post them here.
