Tried this viewer, less than happy with results. text that had width factor other than 1 defaulted to normal width. i.e. notes column spread over edges of drawing sheet, among other things.

Does anyone have an update on this situation? I have a consultant working on AutoCAD 2006 and only have 2002 version myself. He is having trouble with his system so I can't get him to save down to older version or create PDF's.
There is a free DWG viewer from Autodesk, called DWG TrueView 2007. No redlining etc like in the deceased VoloView, but great for viewing and printing.

Also, if you need conversion from the 2007 format (as we do) there is a DWG TrueConvert - also free.

Just go to Autodesk web site and download.

Brad

Installed eDrawings. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I can't get the model space view to show in the Paperspace layout. If I click on Border in the layout navigator I just get an empty title block. when I click on the Drawing View 1 in the navigator, I see a huge outline and tiny title block, no drawing information.

Djordje
Trying TrueView too.
Heh

A deluge by the local standards ... A lot of 7s "fans" (the ones that go there to be seen) did not show up.

You should have seen the flooded underpasses, and the lack of driving skills in the rain ...

It is actually raining now for more than a week. Very unusual for this time of year. Today is the first dry day since the Friday before last.

Yep. Downloaded TrueView and all is good. It works well, The only problem is you have to register and now Autodesk know who I am Drawings seemed to be formatted correctly when viewed in TrueView so don't know what was up there.
