The new AutoCAD 2004 format is not supported (yet?) in ArchiCAD, but the OpenDWG alliance has been able to update it's libraries accordingly.

As a result, there will be a free AutoCAD 2004-DWG viewer available in January.

Might be interesting for ArchiCAD users as well.

<LINK_TEXT text="http://www10.aeccafe.com/nbc/articles/v ... eid=104230">http://www10.aeccafe.com/nbc/articles/view_article.php?section=CorpNews&articleid=104230</LINK_TEXT>

Does anyone know if Graphisoft is using the OpenDWG-alliance libraries or if they are doing everything themselves? I think it can be a huge effort and if so, this time might be better spend on improving ArchiCAD itself.
