<T>Has anyone one defined this, "IFC Space Occupant" in an IFC table and care to share where the input value is inserted ?

Having multiple seats at a table it may be possible to utilize this category such that the "head count" is hard wired to number of seats, not to the one (1) composite object within a room…..

Other options welcomed too...</T>

The table in the sketch above has 18 chairs.

A simple element report will indicate there is one object within a defined zone.
That is fine, however this object is comprised of 19 elements:

1 table &
18 chairs

I am attempting to make a report/interactive that enumerates
1 table &
18 chairs and not just
the one object

All 19 elements have three dimensional para-metrics.
Thanks for assisting !

If the number of chairs is a parameter in the object then in your schedule settings you could use the "add parameter" button to add that field.

If the chairs just appear based on the length of the table then that won't work unless you edit the GDL script to make a parameter that shows the number of chairs.
What is the degree of difficulty to add this GDL script to a couple of dozen or more objects ?
It is hard to say without seeing the object(s) involved.
Is the table a standard Graphisoft library part?
If so tell me what it is called and I will have a look at the script.
Yes.
Office Layout Linear 18

Actually, any of the objects within the "furniture layout 18" office related objects would be applicable.

Thank you !

It seems the parameters for chair numbers are in the objects in the "Furniture layouts" section - it is just they don't all have the same parameter name in each object which makes things difficult to schedule.

But here you can see what I did for the 3 "Office" objects.
These do all have the same parameter for chair numbers.
However there is a problem I can't work out (bug?) in that the chair numbers don't change if you drag the object on the plan to adjust it - i.e. office layout linear 18.
You must open the object settings and adjust the number of chairs rather than simply stretch it on plan.

Barry.

I think it is because the Parameter script is not run if you stretch the object in plan but it is when you open the settings dialogue.
The calculations for the number of chairs/desks is done in the parameter script of theses objects.
