Since the labels report on the wall, you cannot make a schedule of labels (make a report of a report). Your schedule will list the parameters of the walls themselves, just like the labels do.

<T>When I create an interactive schedule I cannot produce a schedule with names of the object or items captured in the schedule. Recently I am trying to help out the estimating department a bit and they want to know which item is which item is which.</T>

If you are in the Interactive Schedule Preview, click "Edit Settings"
Go to the "Fields" tab
This shows two windows: The one on the left has all the parameters available, the one on the right shows all the ones you are actually using,
In the left-hand window, you will see a bunch of headings. Expand the "General" heading, and you will see a bunch of parameters. One of them is "Library Part Name" Click the box next to it, and you will see it appear on the right-hand window,

the wall labels did not present themselves in the schedule. it was blank under that criteria. and the wall perameters would not allow me to use the label settings. please advise on next step to fix the problem.

what i am trying to do is mark the wall in the drawing (ex. w1) to show only what the name of the wall is. then i want the schedule to have the psecs in it to gice all the info for each wall. i have set it up with all the right info but it doesn't give the name of the wall in the schedule. is there a way to do this?

also, after i draw a wall i cannot change the label settings. therefore i cannot make any of the wall that i have already drawn in this plan have their labels. can this be changed?

OK, I misunderstood.

Library Part Name is for objects. The name of the wall type will be under the "Wall" heading, and be called "Fill"

In order to change the label settings (such as what label you are using), select the label itself, instead of the wall. If the "Label Element" box is checked on the wall, and you do not see a labell, then a label may already exist, it is just on a layer that is turned off.

I don't have a peramiter under the heading called fill. All i have is "Cut Fill" and that is the 2d fill in the wall. Are we still in the edit settings box and under field? This is where I am looking and I don't see it. There is also a fill under general but it is the same as the above.

I'm sorry. I thought you meant you wanted the name of the Archicad Wall type (which is Cut Full), not the name you gave the wall (which you are right about, is element ID).
