<T>Guys...really...there has to be a much better way to find the object parameters than having to scroll thru a billion and a half lines of object coding to locate exactly "where" is that small miniscule parameter you need to be able to filter out of a schedule so it wont read superfluous and unnecessary information (such as "openings" or "rectangular openings").

I'm trying to compose a door schedule.
used for the most part, the AC18 out of the box door schedule. it worked fine.....but..it has a tendancy to "read" and search for ALL opening types...doors, openings...etc... and all I want it to do is READ my DOORS...that's it. no openings, no rectangular openings....nothing...just MY DOORS.
So...I hunted and pecked to find the parameters which will filter out such non-sense as those dreaded openings....and it took me over 25 minutes to find.....WHERE THE HECK was that one object type I needed to filter out of the schedule.
Now...Gurur's I know there's a better way to FIND a specific parameter to filter out of the schedule.......HOW DO YOU DO IT?</T>

Rob,
If I understand correctly…
The concept is that anything that you don't want scheduled you assign a specific ID in my schedule I select for Criteria "All Doors" and 'ID does not =NoId" so any opening that I don't want included I just write "NoID" on its setting and I don't have to spend 25 min hunting stuff.

You're doing it wrong. You're also asking wrong. You'll probably get more/better results if it didn't sound like you're having a tantrum every time you post a question.

Why don't you try giving all the doors you don't want to schedule an ID like OMIT and direct the schedule not to list anything with that ID?

Cheers,
