Hi, man!
Should we wait until IFC5, then?
Let's continue squeezing the data schema!
Cheers

<T>Hello,

Is it possible to change the name of the IfcBuildingElementPartType to those Composite sublayers after export IFC using the "Split into parts" option?

I have tried to apply the Rule in the Property Mapping but it doesn't change the name, and it just appears the value of the Building Material defined in that layer.

Thanks</T>

Hi David,
I have already tried that and got a negative response.
The IfcBuildingElementPart and the IfcMaterial are exported in Archicad in one package and cannot be differentiated.
Here an example of my building material appearing in borht ElementPart and Material in the IFC Structure.

... or I hope that someone here comes up with a solution and makes both of us happy
