<T>Hi there,

we have a little issue which every now and again present itself and then fixes itself.
Not this time. We have two windows which are exactly the same, copied properties, inserted in the same wall with the same specs, including the renovation filter ones, however in the schedule they are separated as opposed to be grouped. Actually, in one case we have 6 identical windows, 5 are shown together, one is on its own.

Any idea where to what we can look at?</T>

AC sometimes does wierd stuff like this. Fastest way to fix it can sometimes be just to delete it and replace it with a copy from those that are working properly.

The other thing that might cause this would be a symetrical window that is mirrored?

Hi DGS, thanks for your prompt reply. We did try that. Copied properties of the window and placed it again, in the same wall or in another wall. No success
If we try to copy multiple objects of the same window around the project, one stays separate, all the others are grouped together.
We tried deleting the odd one and recreate one from the other 5, no success, we also tried to delete the 5 grouped and recreate them from the odd one, still no success.

In all your testing is it always the same window which separates itself? The most common reason I have found for this is differing wall thicknesses, but you say in your first post that they are in the same wall so that is not it. Are you using standard AC windows / Schedules or Cadimage windows?

I just tried mirroring a window but they still list as one (so long as I am not scheduling the handing).

Are you using the ID in your schedule and if so are the IDs identical? - it could even be just an extra space at the end of the ID.
But you say you have copied windows so I don't think that is the case.

If that is not it can you show a screen shot of the schedule?

Thank you s2art and Barry.

We tried in different walls, some are the same wall, some different, no difference in the schedule. We have been using AC windows and it happened with different windows, not just a particular one.

Barry,

we just tried to copy the window and it appears correct in the schedule (grouped), but if we copy the properties with the eye dropper and create a new window the schedule puts it in a separate line.

Attached schedule and schedule settings as requested.
Windows that are playing up are Z1.01 and Z1.04 on level one and Z2.01 and 2.04 on level two (they are the same windows on two different levels)

Thank you both for your time!

The schedule you show does have differences meaning they won't group.
The sliding doors on ground level (Z0.07) are different sizes.
All the others with the same ID on the other levels have different flyscreens which is stopping the from grouping.

Are the ones I have highlighted the ones that you think should be grouping?
